Compatibility and Availability

Ovi mail is available in English (US, UK), Hindi, Bahasa (Malaysia, Indonesia), Filipino (Tagalog), Bengali (Bangladesh), Spanish (Spain, Latin American), Portuguese (Brazil, Portugal), German, French, Italian, Vietnamese, Thai, Simplified Chinese, Russian, Finnish, and Arabic on device. Arabic is not currently available on the web, but will be added in the near future.

Publication of these support pages in all the languages above will be available soon. Currently this support information is available in English, German, Italian and Spanish.

Webmail works well with standard browsers such as IE 6, IE 7, IE 8, Firefox 2 and Firefox 3.

Ovi Mail signup and access is supported on all Nokia Series 40 devices launching in 2009 and after and across a wide range of Nokia Series 40 devices currently shipping including:

2600 classic, 2680 slide, 2630, 2760, 3555, 3600 slide, 5000, 5220 XpressMusic, 5310 XpressMusic, 5610 XpressMusic, 6267, 6300i, 6301, 6500 classic, 6500 Slide, 6555, 6600 fold, 6600 slide, 7210 Supernova, 7310, 7500 Prism, 7610 Supernova, 7900 Crystal Prism, 7900 Prism, 8800 Arte, 8800 Sapphire.

On a Nokia Series 60 (N-series or E-series) device, if you do not have an Ovi Mail account, you can first go to http://mail.ovi.com via a web browser on your computer to create an Ovi Mail account. Then you can configure your device to access your Ovi Mail account.
